Granny again
07.29.04 (5:57 pm)   [edit]
It’s been a couple days since Grandma died. Mom and Co. Are currently looting her home. I really can’t stand to hear her asking me what I want of Grandma’s. Grandma may be dead, but they’re still her things.

Weird weird day....
07.27.04 (9:22 pm)   [edit]
Ok so get this.
I’m in college, my first few days as an adult. I imagine I’m living in an adult world now. Ehehe Wrong.

Guy who’d kinda been picking on me a bit before hand, comes in and orders me out of my chair. Says it’s his chair. I’m kind of confused. He goes on and on insulting me and being loud about HIS chair. We don’t even have seating arrangements, but I move anyway and let him have his chair.
Then another guy borrows my book and lets chair boy use it. I’m almost crying at that point. I’d had one hell of a weekend, and now I’m being harassed by some large hairy boy with a chair complex.

So pouting and determined to retain some fraction of dignity, I take my book back and sit in the second row seat that chair boy chased me to. He turns around and starts insulting me again and says I’m psycho because I sit in a different chair every class. Well I wouldn’t have to if he hadn’t chased me out of my previous chair a few weeks ago just so his girlfriends could sit next to him.

Starting to cry, I leave the class room and head for the math tutor (making a stop by the math department to find my teacher who wasn’t there), hoping to learn something away from creepy chair boy. I do, the math tutors are great. But sadly they close early and I have to leave again. Nice boy gives me cinnamene gum, and I, still not feeling very well and a bit shaken, decide to take a detour to the psychological services and get counseling. No one’s in, but the woman behind the counter listens to my story and informs me that chair boy was out of line and I should tell my teacher as well as contact security and that he’s done enough to get himself kicked out of class.

Feeling vindicated, but scared of going to the cops, I call my dad and ask his advice.
He energetically rushes over and well, the rest is sort of boring, but I will say that the math teacher was too scared to help at all and the art teacher was the one who gave us all the contact information we’d need. So yeah for the art teacher.

Thought I'd let you know...

Just after I published, Dad came in and told me mom called. ^_^;; I feel better.

My Grandma's Sick
07.25.04 (8:21 pm)   [edit]
I spent the weekend with my Grandma. She had kidney failure Friday morning.
When I saw her last, may be the last time I see her, but I had to leave after a little while because everyone was waiting for me and getting impatient. I got to sit with her a lot though, I just wish I could have sat with her by myself that last time, and not had been swarmed by family members all chatting at each other and myself.
I got to sit with her alone for a while, I liked that best. Damn though.

Her city is all death now, I feel so paranoid. Every little thing seems like it could kill and life seems so fragile.

My Mom and David (smallest baby brother) are still in the High Desert with my grandma. I’m so worried about them. I know they’ll be alright, but I’m so worried, Mom still hasn’t called.

Owl
The vision and hearing of Grandmother Owl is
very powerful. Those with this medicine are
can be gifted with the ability to see into the
human psychic and become clairvoyant listeners.
Owl often visits those who are teachers,
therapists and counselors. As a guide, the owl
teaches us to see and hear past shadows, beyond
fear and darkness, though to the other side
that promises light, happiness and knowledge.

Owl's Wisdom Includes:

Stealth

Secrecy

Silent and swift movement

Seeing behind masks

Keen sight

Messenger of secrets and omens

Shape-shifting

Link between the dark, unseen world and the world
of light

Comfort with shadow self

Moon magick

Freedom

The owl, whose large eyes peering through the
darkness can see any deception. He is always
wary of those who he does not feel completely
close to (which is not many). The owl is a
loner. Call on him if you think people are
keeping the truth from you. He will be able to
open your eyes.
